Abstract
Frequency and regularity of visitation is studied over time for a sample of recently separated mother-custody families. Results suggest that stability of visitation is more predictive of child adjustment than frequency of visits and that these effects are manifested over time. Setting up and maintaining a visitation schedule are shown to be related to the relationship that parents establish with each other in the first year of the separation.Entities:
