Abstract
A proportional hazards model was used to analyze effects of sociodemographic variables on length of hospital stay in psychiatric patients. Marital status and socioeconomic status had a significant influence in psychotic patients, but not in neuroses. A significant time dependency of hazard rate was also found.Entities:
