In the article titled, “Profile of genetic variations in severely calcified carotid plaques by whole-exome sequencing”, published in Vol. 11 of Surgical Neurology International [1], the abbreviation of “ATP binding cassette subfamily C member 6” is incorrectly written as “ADCC” instead of “ABCC” in the text and the abstract. “SNVs” stands for “single nucleotide variants” instead of “single nucleotide variations”.
