Abstract
In this article, we present a new surgical approach to the mandible that can be used for implant placement or osseus genioplasty. This approach is virtually scarless, helps in reducing blood loss due to a subperiosteal dissection, may theoretically reduce the risk of mental nerve damage, and helps reduce postoperative functional recovery time, as the mentalis muscle is never transected, only reflected.Entities:
