Figure 2(A) Plaque index scores significantly decreased from the first to baseline visit, within 7 days, for all groups. At the endpoint, after 30 days, plaque index scores for all treatment modalities increased again; however, these scores remained significantly lower than at first visit and non-significantly different from baseline scores (∗ = p < 0.05, ∗∗ = p < 0.002, ∗∗∗ = p < 0.001).
