Abstract
A patient with positive serological HIV-II reactions is presented, who lived for many years in North and West Africa and on the Arabian peninsula, and who developed asthenica, incontinence, gait disturbances, impaired mental function, personality changes and finally spastic paraplegia and peripheral neuropathy. He was shown to have a chronic inflammatory process of the central nervous system with cerebral atrophy.Entities:
