Bold font in the table describes the therapeutic outcome from each respondent after being measured by the CAT questionnaire (a total 156), totals calculated for each CAT score category include: success, moderate, less, successful, unsuccessful
*CAT scores are calculated for each individual
Distribution of CAT score percentage based on the symptom felt by the patient
| Statement of CAT (symptom) | % respondents (scores 1–5)* |
|---|---|
| Cough all the time | 37.82 (1) |
| Chest is completely full of phlegm (mucus) | 37.18 (1) |
| Chest feels very tight | 43.59 (0) |
| Feel breathlessness when walk up a hill or one flight of stairs | 37.82 (3) |
| Limited doing activities at home | 41.67 (0) |
| Not confident leaving the home because of lung condition | 53.85 (0) |
| Sleeplessness because of lung condition | 32.90 (1) |
| No energy at all | 34.62 (1) |
*The higher the CAT score, the severe the COPD patient’s symptom is: scores 1–5
