The original article titled “Effect of posterior fusion surgery on idiopathic scoliosis in Iran” published in Journal of Craniovertebral Junction and Spine, on pages 24-27, Issue 1, Volume 10, 2019[1], is being retracted because the authors found certain ethical and data authenticity concerns. Such publications violate the editorial policy of Journal of Craniovertebral Junction and Spine, which follows best practice guidelines given by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) mentioned on the Information for Authors and as codified in the signed statements made by the authors regarding the copyright of their work.
