Abstract
Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) is a rare and aggressive form of skin cancer. Many people suffer early local recurrences and distant metastases. The anti-PDL1 (PDL1: programmed death ligand 1) antibody avelumab has been approved as first-line treatment for advanced MCC in Europe. It is also an alternative treatment for old and multimorbid patients.Entities:
