Abstract
In each of three phakic eyes, a full-thickness macular hole developed after scleral buckling surgery for repair of a rhegmatogenous retinal detachment. Presumed predisposing factors included retinal ischemia in the central fovea due to separation of the retina from the choroidal vascular supply and vitreomacular traction.Entities:
