Abstract
Women who attempted suicides who were pregnant did not differ from nonpregnant women who attempted suicide in measures of depression, hopelessness, or suicidal intent. Three themes were noted in the pregnant women who attempted suicide: prior loss of children (by miscarriage, adoption, or death), potential loss of their lover, and the desire for an abortion.Entities:
