Abstract
Vertebral osteomyelitis is a disease most often encountered in the adult population, especially in the elderly. The usual etiologic agent is Staphylococcus aureus. We report a case of Streptococcus mutans endocarditis resulting in hematogenous osteomyelitis of the lumbar vertebrae.Entities:
