Abstract
In this issue of Cancer Discovery, Bhatnagar and colleagues show that Black patients in the United States with acute myeloid leukemia have a shorter survival compared with white patients. This is an important paper as it addresses an under researched issue: the complex interaction of race, tumor genetics, socioeconomic factors, and access to treatment in defining treatment outcomes for a devastating cancer.See related article by Bhatnagar et al., p. 626. ©2021 American Association for Cancer Research.Entities:
