Abstract
Most atypical Mycobacterium infections of the hand are caused by Mycobacterium marinum. We are presenting a rare case of a Mycobacterium chelonei tenosynovitis. The correct diagnosis is important because the chelonei species is resistant to most antituberculosis drugs. Treatment should include surgical debridement and long-term chemotherapy after sensitivities have been determined.Entities:
