Abstract
•Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome is one of the numerous causes of status epilepticus and it should be kept in mind while encountering such clinical scenario.•Mycophenolate mofetil can be contributory cause of PRES.•Prompt recognition and timely intervention is a key to full recovery without any residual neurological deficits after refractory status epilepticus.Entities:
