Abstract
Most cases of hip pain in adults are related to osteoarthrosis, thus other causes, e.g. inflammation, are often not adequately considered for the joint pain in the initial diagnosis. This review article describes the various rheumatic diseases of the hip in the context of diagnostic image interpretation. The advantages and disadvantages of the individual imaging modalities are discussed against the background of pathological findings of rheumatological diseases of the hip.Entities:
