A long-lasting CBZ controlled case of hypnogenic paroxysmal dystonia.

Abstract

We report a case of hypnogenic paroxysmal dystonia (HPD), diagnosed on the basis of typical clinical and neurophysiological criteria. Dose dependent and long-lasting well-being of the patient was obtained with carbamazepine (CBZ) treatment.
