Figure 1Receiver-operating characteristics (ROC) curve for 30-day mortality for the baseline blood urea nitrogen (BUN) level. The best cutoff value of BUN to predict mortality was 14.8 mg/dL with 88.2% sensitivity and 62.4% specificity (AUC: 0.64; 95% CI: 0.55–0.73; P=0.006).
