Abstract
A case of femoral neck fracture despite the presence of a previously inserted sliding screw and sideplate is reported. Internal fixation in itself did not prevent subsequent fracture. A critical factor in the mechanism of this fracture was the patient's underlying disease, felt to be alcoholic osteomalacia.Entities:
