Abstract
Ancylostoma ceylanicum is the second most common hookworm species infecting humans in Southeast Asia and Oceania. We performed a three years multicenter study to assess its frequency in hookworm infecting patients returning from tropical areas to France and found that A. ceylanicum was the second most frequent hookworm species isolated. © International Society of Travel Medicine 2021.
