Abstract
The implication of life events just preceding a war in acute combat stress reaction and chronic PTSD were assessed in a sample of 716 Israeli combatants. Results show that life events were unrelated to combat stress reaction but were related to subsequent PTSD. Conceptual and methodological issues were discussed to explain the results.Entities:
