The value was significantly higher in patients who could walk (with or without assistance) than in those who could sit or in bedridden patients.
A χ2 test was used to compare the variables among the 4 groups.
Analysis of variance test was used to compare variables among the 4 groups, and post-hoc analysis was performed using Tukey’s method.

Partial regression coefficients (β*) show the change in the dependent variable (T-score) per unit for change in the independent variable. In this case, independent variables are categorical variables, and β represents the effect vs the reference category. Standardized partial regression coefficients are used to compare the relative importance of each coefficient, as it eliminates the units of measurement of variables. A VIF detects multicollinearity in regression analysis. VIFs > 5 warrant further investigation; however, all VIFs were < 5.
