Abstract
A 29-year-old male presented for elective hip replacement surgery 26 months after cardiac transplantation. The principles involved in the anesthetic management of this patient include sterile management of the airway, maintenance of an adequate intravascular volume, and immediate detection and treatment of hypotension and arrhythmia should they occur. The patient made a good recovery from both anaesthesia and operation.Entities:
