Abstract
BACKGROUND: Metabolic and bariatric surgery (MBS) has been shown to improve medical problems; however, there are known arrhythmias that can occur after MBS (i.e., sick sinus syndrome [SSS] and sinus bradyarrhythmias). While the literature in this area contains case reports, there is a lack of published data on a state or national level. We used a large state administrative database to evaluate the occurrence of cardiac arrhythmias after MBS.Entities:
