Abstract
Computed tomography scanning was performed on 38 patients 1-12 years after surgery for craniopharyngioma. Recurrence of the tumor had appeared in nine patients. Thirteen patients had a residual tumor, and 16 were tumor-free after primary surgery. In addition, one patient became tumor-free after total removal of the recurrent tumor. After partial removal, the rate of recurrence was high and the quality of life was impaired.Entities:
