Among the 29 patients who received PP (n = 22) or iEPO (n = 7) individually, patients’ Pao2/Fio2 was not significantly different pre- and post-PP (green line) or iEPO (blue line) but improved after the combined use of iEPO and PP (89.1 [30.6] vs 113.3 [66.7] mm Hg; p = 0.042).
