Abstract
BACKGROUND: Postoperative sore throat (POST) is a complication that decreases patient satisfaction and increases postoperative complaints. Group G: gargle with 0.05% dexamethasone solution, intravenous injection with 0.9% normal saline 2 ml, Group I: gargle with 0.9% normal saline, intravenous injection with mixed solution 2 ml (dexamethasone 0.1 mg/kg + 0.9% normal saline), Group GI: gargle with 0.05% dexamethasone solution, intravenous injection with mixed solution 2 ml (dexamethasone 0.1 mg/kg + 0.9% normal saline).
