Abstract
BACKGROUND: Jambadyarista is an Ayurvedic polyherbal formulation widely prescribed by Ayurvedic practitioners for the management of diabetes and its associated complications. About 39 companies have marketed this formulation in Bangladesh with consent from the Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA).
