The phylogenetic tree was inferred using the maximum likelihood method based on the complete L1 gene nucleotide sequence alignment of related BPVs and BPV Aks-02 (the BPV Aks-02 indicated with a black diamond). The tree was divided into the previously determined genera Xipapillomavirus, Epsilonpapillomavirus, Deltapapillomavirus, Dyokappapapillomavirus, Dyoxipapillomavirus, and unassigned papillomavirus genus (BPV 19, BPV 21). The scale bar indicates the number of nucleotide substitutions per site.
