Abstract
Two new species belonging to the sand crab genus Paralbunea Serène, 1977 are described: one each from the Philippines and Taiwan. Both new species can be distinguished from each other, as well as the five other species of Paralbunea, by characters of the carapace, eyes, and pereopods. Additional new western Pacific locality records are given for two species of spiny sand crabs (Blepharipodidae) and six species of sand crabs (Albuneidae). A key to all seven species of Paralbunea is provided.Entities:
