Abstract
A 67-year-old woman died with massive fatty change in the liver 41 hours after her second enflurane anaesthetic in 28 days. The clinical features of five previously reported similar deaths are summarised. Possible mechanisms of the hepatotoxicity are reviewed briefly.Entities:
