Digital hearing aids: a tutorial review.

Abstract

The basic concepts underlying digital signal processing are reviewed briefly, followed by a short historical account of the development of digital hearing aids. Key problem areas and opportunities are identified, and the various approaches used in attempting to develop a practical digital hearing aid are discussed.
