Ensuring the Value of Cancer Research: Opportunities in Implementation Science.

Abstract

Implementation science is the study of methods to ensure the uptake and integration of evidence-based interventions in cancer control. Three key approaches to effective implementation include multilevel approaches, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability. This commentary describes the use and benefits of implementation science as well as opportunities for cancer researchers. Published by Elsevier Inc.
