Figure 2Study quality of cohort and cross-sectional studies in the review of intimate partner violence and breastfeeding outcomes. In the figure illustration of the Newcastle–Ottawa Scale (NOS), the studies which reached a maximum of stars in each category of the NOS was rewarded a ‘yes’, and further if the studies adjusted for more than four confounding domains, they were rewarded a ‘yes’ (see online supplemental appendix S2).
