Abstract
To date, skin substitute that can provide permanent wound closure is still autologous tissue-engineered skin using autologous skin cells as seed cells. The development of cultured epithelial autograft has experienced a long and tortuous process. Autologous tissue-engineered composite skin is closer to autologous split-thickness skin graft in terms of structure, function, and efficacy, which has become a research focus in recent years. Based on the actual status of research on tissue-engineered skin application, this paper reviewed the main research progresses and existing problems, and the prospect of research and development and clinical application of autologous tissue-engineered skin as permanent graft in order to provide a reference for the improvement and application of autologous tissue-engineered skin.Entities:
