BACKGROUND: This study is part of the EU-funded project HarmonicSS, aimed at improving the treatment and diagnosis of primary Sjögren's syndrome (pSS). pSS is an underdiagnosed, long-term autoimmune disease that affects particularly salivary and lachrymal glands.Entities:

This is the mean age of the patients included in the database in the concerning year. We do not report mean age in year of first diagnosis here, because the first diagnosis year is unknown for a large group of patients who were diagnosed before inclusion in Nivel PCD (N = 810).
