Evidence for basement membranes in rat tail tendon sheaths.

Abstract

The presence of anti-laminin antibodies and a basement membrane-like thin electrondense lamina has been demonstrated in the peritendineum of the rat tail tendon by indirect immunofluorescence and electron microscopy.
