Acquisition of skills required for use of Doppler ultrasound and the assessment of varicose veins.

Abstract

Doppler ultrasound is a useful adjunct to clinical examination for varicose veins. A simple study demonstrated that someone inexperienced in the use of a Doppler ultrasound can rapidly acquire sufficient expertise to use the instrument effectively.
