Abstract
A rare case of uterine perforation leading to ureter obstruction and ultimately to nephrectomy is presented to emphasize the importance of a careful IUD insertion technique and follow-up of IUD patients. Complications of this kind can be avoided by prompt localization of 'missing' IUDs by ultrasonography of X-ray.Entities:
