Abstract
INTRODUCTION: The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic caused significant changes in the everyday functioning of the general population, as well as medical workers. Medical personnel, especially those in direct contact with COVID-19 patients, could have increased levels of stress, anxiety, and depression. The objective of this study was to explore the mental health status of medical personnel in Serbia during the pandemic by assessing stress levels, symptoms of anxiety, and depression.Entities:

Symbols in superscript (a and b) represent the results of the Z test; the groups with the same symbol (a and a or b and b) do not significantly differ; groups marked with different symbols (a and b) differ significantly. The groups marked with both symbols (a,b) do not significantly differ neither from group marked with a nor from the group marked with b.
