Clinical response was evaluated using the National Early Warning Score (NEWS), which determines the degree of illness of a patient and prompts critical care intervention. In addition, PaO2/FiO2, oxygen parameters, absolute lymphocyte count, and values of interleukin 6, hypersensitive C-reactive protein, fibrinogen and D-dimer were measured during the indicated days after the infusion of IVIG. Reference range in each graph indicates the expected normal values.
