Abstract
Certain farm animal behaviors are subject partially to genetic control. This article provides examples of how knowledge of genetic differences and genetic modification of farm animal behavior might enhance both human and animal welfare. The first part of the article deals with genetic differences among species or breeds, and the second part considers differences that exist within a particular breed or population.Entities:
