Abstract
BACKGROUND: Peanut is one of the most important oil crop species worldwide. NAC transcription factor (TF) genes play important roles in the salt and drought stress responses of plants by activating or repressing target gene expression. However, little is known about NAC genes in peanut.Entities:

Fig. 2Phylogenetic analysis of NAC proteins among Arachis, Arabidopsis and rice. Multiple sequence alignment of NAC proteins was performed using ClustalW. The phylogenetic tree was constructed via MEGA 6.0 using NJ method with 1000 bootstrap replicates. The tree was divided these NAC proteins into 18 subgroups, designated NAC-a to NAC-r.
