Abstract
Further developments in recombinant DNA technology, exploiting a natural mechanism for export using a signal peptide in E. coli, have enabled the production of recombinant somatropin, with full biological activity and extremely high purity. The secretion of the protein into the periplasmic space has simplified purification procedures, providing a unique and simple process and a pure and active product.Entities:
