OBJECTIVES: The emergency department provides opportunities for identifying undiagnosed HIV cases. The total 1782 is missing 13 cases (of 1795 positive cases) because they were missing race and/or sex. One African American, Non‐Hispanic person was missing sex. Twelve men were missing race and ethnicity.
