Abstract
A series of suppressor cell systems regulate virtually all immunological processes. Disorders of suppressor cells have been identified, including an increased number of activated suppressor T cells in some patients with hypogammaglobulinemia or with selective IgA deficiency. At the other end of the spectrum of immunological response a reduction in suppressor T cell activity has been implicated in the pathogenesis of autoimmune and possibly allergic diseases.Entities:
