Abstract
The histological and immunohistochemical features of 3 cases of cellular neurothekeomas of skin are presented. Based on the findings in these cases and comparisons made with others reported in the literature, it is proposed that neurothekeomas may be divided into two distinct types: the myxoid and cellular variants. The relationship between these variants and a related entity, the Pacinian neurofibroma, is discussed.Entities:
