Abstract
BACKGROUND: Immunoglobulin A nephropathy (IgAN) is the most commonly encountered glomerular disease in Asian countries. It has a broad clinical presentation, and it is frequently associated with other conditions. Chronic liver disease is well recognized as the leading cause of secondary IgAN.
