Abstract
Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is the most common liver disease in childhood. There is an increase in disease prevalence and diagnoses as it is difficult to diagnose the problem. There are currently no effective medications. Management of NAFLD is a challenge for primary care clinicians and subspecialists. This paper provides guidelines for disease screening, diagnosis, management, and algorithm for subspecialty referral.Entities:
