Abstract
We present a case of a patient with known papillary thyroid carcinoma presenting with overt upper gastrointestinal bleeding from a metastatic gastric mass. The gastric mass was diagnosed through transnasal endoscopy with tissue biopsies, revealing papillary thyroid carcinoma cells on histopathological studies. Bleeding was persistent despite standard medical therapy. Chemoembolisation of the major feeding vessels of such tumour provided resolution of bleeding. © BMJ Publishing Group Limited 2020.
